Felis Lux didn't begin as a business plan. It began with four cats, a lot of questions, and a quiet refusal to accept that "good enough" was good enough for the animals we love.
We're Victoria and Kate, two people who came to this work from completely different directions and somehow fit together exactly right. Between us, we carry the operations and the obsession, the structure and the science. We built this because we believed cats deserved better. We're still here because we know they do.
Victoria — The One Who Gets It Done
With over a decade of experience in office administration and business management, Victoria has always been the kind of person who doesn't just see what needs doing. She sees the seventeen steps required to do it properly and gets through all of them without dropping a single one. Attention to detail isn't a skill for her, it's a way of life.
She also picks things up fast. It's kind of her superpower, and it's what allows Felis Lux to grow with intention without losing the care and craft that make it worth building in the first place.
Victoria came to cats the honest way: through love first and learning second. That openness and willingness to keep asking question is what shapes everything she brings to this brand.
Kate — The One Who Reads Every Paper
Kate didn't really grow up as a cat person. But when she became one, she did what Kate does with everything: she went deep.
She read the studies. Then she read the studies behind the studies. Feline ethology, behavioral enrichment, instinctual needs... Kate doesn't just know this world, she lives in it. It's what makes her our research backbone and our ethical compass, always asking "Is this truly good for the cat?" and actually being able to answer it.
Her background in fashion, design, and merchandising means that knowledge doesn't stay theoretical for long. Kate has an eye for what's beautiful, what's trending, and what will endure, and she has the patience to pursue quality relentlessly. She is the reason our products feel considered, and the reason our brand has a visual identity that holds together.
